In this video, I share the full story of the Ladies of Llangollen — two women who chose to live life on their own terms — before winter brings cruising to a halt. With snow settling on the canal, I spend a few quiet days staying put: walking icy towpaths, tackling everyday boat chores, and soaking up the stillness that comes when the boat can’t move. Sometimes life on the cut is about adventure.
