That said, this is still a fair review, and Supermicro had no input or requirements for this video, or any future projects on the channel. AMD's Epyc Turin architecture has been out for over a year now, but that doesn't make it any less exciting. Zen 5 might have been a bit of a letdown on the consumer side of things, but the efficiency and performance gains in their server chips has been an absolute game changer. Case in point, the AMD Epyc 9965, featuring 192 Zen 5c cores running at up to 3.7GHz, making for a single server with 384-Cores and 768-Threads, along with 24-Channels of DDR5-6400. This thing is an absolute beast.
